Senior Admin Assistant

Salary: point range 9 to 12 (£20,344 to £21,589) pro rata

Working pattern: 30 hrs per week, (flexible time over 5 days) Term Time only, plus 5 training days

Permanent position

The academy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Administration Assistant, ideally with school experience, to join the team, as soon as possible. This role will provide a high level of administrative support to both the school finance and administration functions, ensuring processes are effective and efficient. The successful applicant will be customer focussed and should have experience and a sound understanding of Word, Excel and other Microsoft applications. Experience of Arbor or other MIS systems would be advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This role will report to the School Business Manager. This post is subject to a successful enhanced DBS disclosure.

Teaching Assistant - Level 2

32.5 hours per week

Term time only

Fixed term to start as soon as possible (January 2020)

Point 4 - £18,426 pro rata

We are seeking to appoint a qualified Teaching Assistant (Level 2) who will work within our Academy as part of a supportive team to ensure the care of individual or groups of children, to support their learning and development and ensure their safety. They will also be involved in preparing and maintaining classroom teaching materials and helping in planning and recording pupils’ progress.

The role is varied and will involve working with children in a one to one situation and in small groups. Lunch time duties will also form part of the role. They will have GCSE (or above) in Maths and English or equivalent qualification.
